We began chatting, catching up on the time missed, and getting to know each other better than before which all was completely platonic. As of a couple months ago, he now skypes me everyday, talks about how he wants me to visit him where he attends his university, and will make comments about me being his girlfriend. BUT, when we do get into little arguments he will say he is just my friend and that all is a joke. Which is fine being that I've been single for 2.5 years, all of which being my choice due to the countless "burns" I've endured from past relationships. He is always complimenting me, asking me about my day, my trip to see my family, etc. My question is: Is this guy being sincere or just looking to charm me into flying to see him? Being that I have been in relationships that were debacles, I do not want to assume anything nor do I want to go visit him 'blindly' without some input. I'm a strong girl and I don't always believe everything I hear either. Some guys are really good with their words....

Same thing happened to me. I too had been in bad relationships was single for 4 years and he charmed the pants off me literally after 12 months of chatting getting to know each other again we met up things happened between us every for months but due to his job we only met some weekends. I then found out he was seeing my friend. The worse thing about my situation was she knew about me and him some friend hey. Anyway be very careful try not to be blinded by charm and make your feelings clear. Good luck x
