I am somewhat shy, maybe I didn't jump at his signals, but I do like him a lot. How do I find out if he is seriously interested ? What should I do? If a guy is really into you, won't he at least make some effort to make you feel special?

Unless he's shy too! Remember, he may be sat there twiddling his thumbs because he's give you some signals and you haven't given any back. Why don't you try talking to him and see what happens. That really is the only way to find out what he's thinking. Be brave.
