Hi Anon,
If you're comfortable enough to want to live together, you should feel comfortable enough to talk to him about it. If you just tell him you think it'd be a good idea and why, then you can see how he feels. It's a lot better to be open with big stuff like this. That way instead of *trying* to get your point across, you definitly will. And instead of *trying* to see how he feels about it, then you'll know for sure what his thoughts are.
If you feel like you don't want to talk to him directly about this and just want to hint at it, are you sure you're ready to live together? Make sure you have good communication with one another before you make a big step in the relationship like this.

Put all his clothes in the small closet in the spare bedroom. Take all the space in the bathroom and begin to redecorate. Give him 12 post dated rent checks and change the address on your driver's licence.
Actually, I'm just joking. Just try talking or making small suggestions. Refer to other people you know who are living together. Discuss the benefits, money wise.
