The very first thing you need to do is speak to a doctor. You have anonymity in Britain, so no one else has to know. But you must first find out whether you're pregnant or not. So get tested. Then if you are, speak go the doctor about your options. Whatever happens, make sure you're on the contraceptive pill from now, so something like this doesn't happen again.

Hi there,

It is a big step to terminate a pregnancy, and if you are certain that you wish to do so, I suggest speaking to your GP to get the process started.

I suggest speaking to your boyfriend before you make the final decision, as if he finds out afterwards and you didn't tell him, it may destroy him, an ultimately end the relationship.

In the end, it is your body, and the final say is up to you, but do speak with someone close to you first, as although it seems like an easy decision now, it is very difficult emotionally after the fact.

Please don't go through this on your own, as it is very difficult. I am speaking from experience with my girlfriend. xx

First things first - take a pregnancy test

secondly if results positive, go to your local doctor - he will refer you to the right people but make sure when you book your appointment to mention you want to be refered for an abortion then they will see you as soon as possible.

Thirdly, remember you can change your mind at any time and if you do, the doctor is also in charge of refering patiants to midwives etc.
