Ever since, I haven't gotten anything back from him. Once during a class at school, we were parternered up for a project, and I couldn't say anything to him that wasn't related to the project. When I see him, I can't strike up a conversation on my own. I just never think he'd want to talk to me. I've liked him since 7th grade and I'm already going into 9th. For a stupid game in 7th grade, he asked me out, because of the rules of the game, and I said NO! That's how nervous I was. I wanted to say yes! How do I get the confidence to talk to him? Please help!Sorry it's long.

Well, the best thing you could do is to find out about him. Not snooping around askin questions ABOUT him, actually ask HIM. Do you have his mobile number? Or an msn adress? These will help you a lot: find something you both like and mention it. Try and draw him into a conversation about whatever it is, and see if you can start up a good friendship with him. This is the first thingyou should do: being friends with someone before you ask them out can boost your chances enormously.
