 Hey Sweetie, i have a crush on a much older guy too and i just kinda try to ignor it sometims and go on with my life. You can't really get rid of a crush, once you love them you can't really stop loving them, no matter what you do.
Try doing something to take your mind off him like hanging out with your peeps, or take up a new hobby!

 Im afraid you sort of have to just wait it out.. Its one of those things that you cant really get rid of. You can try to distract yourself though, by hanging out with friends in places where you know hes not going to be etc. You could also start a new hobbie or something, you'll get to meet lots of new people that way, which will hopefully take your mind of it.
I wouldn't hate it too much, you never know what could happen, crushes are perfectly natural and they affect everyone at some point (believe me i've had a few really awkward crushes in my time!!) and they arn't nice, especially if it is uncomfortable.
