i am 28 and he is 35, the problem is we are always fighting as a result am so drained and dont think the relationship is going anywhere, i want out but he doesnt, we promised each other to change but nothing works.I tried everything to make this work, but no success, please help how do i get out of this sad, draining relationship.

I agree you just need to end it, BUT FIRST make sure you financial affairs are in order. Everything from you own acounts to your job to a place to live. It will make it much easier if you know you have something to go to.

I think you need to just tell him it's over. Make sure your family and friends know beforehand so you have someone to talk to, then sit your boyfriend down and tell him it's over. All you can do is be honest.
