He has sat behind me a couple times in class and makes tons of noise rattling things around. Whenever I turn around to look at him, he'll totally freeze in lace and won't move until I turn back around. Once he hit me in the back with a pen. When I turned around, he was determinedly staring in the other direction. He was smiling. What does it mean? Reply to this Question Share |

I know it can be difficult to figure out how they feel. The problem is, is if they are shy, you don't want to freak them out by coming on too strong. He is definitely flirting with you... sitting behind you and finding excuses to touch u, ie the pen throwing. Any excuse to direct your attention at him! :P Just play along and flirt back. See if it continues. He could just be a tease, or he could be interested in you. The whole sitting close is a sign. next time he sits further away from you, make sure he is sitting behind and somewhere he can look at u. Then try the clock trick... Stare somewhere and then quickly flick head to look over to the clock on the wall. then flick your eyes at him and see if he is looking at the clock too... This could be an indication he was looking at you! :D

He's just shy, tell him how you feel.

It does sound as though he is trying to get your attention! But you might have to be the one to start the talking. Give it a go, what have you got to loose? It is very hard for shy people to get up the courage to talk to someone they're interested in. So if you are interested, go for it!
