I've seen a similar question about this but the answers didnt really help me.

Basically, 2 of my friends asked me to go on holiday with them next summer, i know i want to go with one of them but how do i tell my other friend?

The best thing to do is to say that the holiday you are going on was already planned and talked about some time ago. Then, perhaps offer to go on holiday with the other friend the year after?
