I think it has to do with personal preference. Whether or not a guy will like what you do depends on the guy. The main idea is to be sensitive to how he reacts. If something you're doing seems to make him happy then keep doing it and vice versa. The fact that he finishes quickly could just be something he does and doesn't want to admit.
