writes:I broke up with my boyfriend of nearly 7 years 6 months ago because we were so different and wanted different things. I know what I did was for the best but it still hurt, anyway he was so heartbroken but turned on me spreading horrible lies and got a new girlfriend within a week. I thought this guy was the nicest guy but he is rude to my family and has made my mum cry. Now I have found out that he started seeing his girlfriend before we broke up. Feel so angry, betrayed and sad. Don't know what to do. Any advice? Feeling so low.

How do you know he started seeing this girl before you broke up? Did he tell you that? He could've been saying it to get back at you as you broke up with him?
If it is true, then thank yourself lucky you found out now, and didn't waste another 7 years of your life on him.
You are young, and will have have the last laugh, as I am sure you will find someone much better for you in the future who respects your family too. Any guy that was rude to my mum or made her cry would be history! Don't bother even speaking to him anymore, he is not worth your sadness by the sounds of it.
Try and put it down to experience, and look to the future x

 You just have to make yourself get over this. You're already broken up, so dwelling on his cheating won't make things better, you'll just get more angry. But just don't think about him. Find fun ways to distract yourself from him and show yourself and everyone that you won't let his wrongdoings affect your life and happiness.
