The thing is every single one of these people have been an absoloute lunatic, have not looked like their profile pictures, seemed completly different in person one date even showed up without shoes on.Surely there are some decent men on these sites or am I wrong? Here are my 6 dates1-showed up without shoes said he was 'sporty' but could barely walk.2- took me on a drive to his parents house on the SECOND date and introduced me as his fiancee.3- had a nice enough date but there was no chemistry so told him we are just friends. Next day he shows up at uni with flowers....bawling his eyes out.4- left him at a resturant when he told me he left his wife because she turned into a 'fat bitch' 5- drove him home from the date becuase he had too much to drink when we got to his place he refused to get out of my car.6- forgot to take off his wedding ring....by this stage i was fed up and publcly yelled at him. before I give up on love completly I want to hear stories from anyone who has internet dated the good and the bad.

Unlucky.
Well, now that you have given online dating a shot, i think its time to run far far away from that.
Try meeting people at work, through friends, social functions etc...There are some normal, sane guys out there!
Good luck.

Dear me, you certainly got your share of the nut jobs, didn't you? It's people like that who put me off internet dating.
At least you got some really good stories to tell. =)
Remember that people like you found are usually the minority. Remain positive and don't stress out too much. Love can come in the most unexpected forms. Just go with the flow for the time being, and don't let a few nutters put you off - at least now you know their reasons for dating online!
Good luck to you.
