writes:I want to know how you can tell if someone is lying to you! I have been dating a guy for about 5 years and its been a shakey relationship I had gave up about a year ago when I split with him He just didnt care I then started dating a guy I met at work and he was really great until the end where things went wrong I then went back to the 1st guy and we made aq promise to each other that we would try! I have been working for a long time I evenworked my whole pregnancy until 2 weeks before I was due! I really stood by him when he lost his job or quit with really no questions until it became a habit! When i went back I was working at a job that was 10 hour shifts and 5 days a week it was really hard for me I ask him if he would mind just for some time off so I could be home for the kids and not worry about babysitters not showing up! He just last night asked if I would go back to work for part time and I told him that I would see! Honestly I dont want too at this time and I dont know how to tell him without getting into a fight! What should I do?

reader, anonymous, writes (7 March 2007): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionMy question was about lying, Its real simple I cant tell when a guy iss lying to me I had been working for a long time with really no brake in btween the jobs I even worked when I was pregnant I didnt mind it But I told my boyfriend at the time though when he quit his job that I backed him up and I basically took care of things Now I quit and wanted to be with the kids for a little time but I dont think my boyfriend really liked it he asked me to go back to work even part time so it wouldnt be streesful on him but i took it to heart when he said it because thats what I had to do when he quit and went to jail! It was really hard on me! I feel for some reason I fall for a guy and he tells me things and makes me feel good and then he brakes my heart! One other thing what would you do if a guy is looking for a relationship after breaking up with someone he cared about knowing thats he still has some feelings for her but wants to date you! He treats you good but has some issues he is older but doesnt really matter thinking that the older guys would have more stability, I need to know what I did wrong I trusted him and he asked me to stay at his home until my place was ready to move in to, He had accused me of stealing coins from him like susan b's which really made me mad for the fact that if I really wanted them I could of taken them from his rental unit when he left me behind on many occassions! He had sold me a 98 cavalier and we had an agreement and I intended to commit to it until he did thatcrap to me and broke my heart I didnt feel sorry for him because he was the one that was impatient and wanted to have everything done getting the vehicle in my name so basically he stated that he sold me the car for a $1000 but in reality I didnt give him anything at the time! He then took me to court and I told the judge I owed him but he was really cocky about it and on top of it he bought his wife to the proceedings were she didnt even belong she wasnt present! I want to know if I got swindled from this guty and he used me just so he could get laid! I need to know if Im wrong on this I really liked this guy thought there was something but seeing the real truth I think I got use! I dont know how to handle this without wanting to tear his throat out, Knowing that being a driver he would leave go to another state come back to me have some fun and all the time he is seeing the x! She even had enough guts to find me at my job ask for me act like she was my friend and along there laughing there asses off! How would you respond! Would you even care!
