Question - (30 April 2006) 1 Answers - (Newest, 5 May 2006)
A female , *are writes:

I have been with my boyfriend for nearly 3 years. Its always great and i am so happy but other times i have doubts. When im happy i feel that he is the one for me. I really love him and he is everything that i could ever ask for. I think i have too high expectations sometimes and think its always going to be like a fairytale and what you see in the movies. which i know its not. He treats me well, looks after me and makes me so happy. How do i tell if he is the one for me? Is there someone for everyone? or am i just being silly. How can i stop having these doubts from time to time and just be happy. Thx :)

GodofGraphics agony auntEveryone has their doubts. Its part of any healthy relationship. It could happen 3 months down the line, or 3 years. Its only natural.

If he really is the one for you, then you'll know. When you are happy you say you feel it. If its been 3 years he probably feels it to.

Doubts are a part in every relationship. You get somewhere so good you start to worry that you're going to lose it.

Be with him, be happy with him, be happy together. There is no need to worry.
