im falling in love with a manager at work im 18 shes 23-25 and it hurt. I think about her as i wakeup and last thing before i sleep i try so hard not to i know itll be a stupid crush secondly it wouldn't happen and i wouldn't do that to her family yet i still yearn for her and start to notice the little things that make her more special to me.. Everytime i see her my heart flutters and i feel so comfortable with her and happy - ive had girlfriends but ive never felt like this its killing me cause its hopeless how can i make it stop? ( im also scared the rest of my work mates or even her have worked this out)

A male reader, Asexy United States +, writes (19 January 2008):

Asexy agony auntYou need to get out and meet new people, so that you won't focus on the one that you CAN NOT go out with. Dating people where you work (especially the boss) is never a good idea. If the relationship goes south you could lose your job (or worse).

Start doing stuff that makes you feel good about yourself. Anything you like. Play a sport. Take a class. Join a chorus. Anything. Bonus points if it's something that involves other people. BTW, confidence is sexy. So when you start feeling good about yourself, the girls will be there. I promise.
