Feeling depressed during winter, can mean that you may be affected by SAD disorder (Seasonal Affective Disorder)
You could try these steps to improve the symptoms:
- Spend at least 30 minutes outside every day.
- Set a timer on a light to go on early in the morning in the bedroom.
- Take daily walks outside.
- Increase indoor lighting with regular lamps and fixtures (artificial light may help)
Loosing your tan should not affect your confidence, you could try self help book to improve your self esteem.
Having a tan will give you a healthy glow and appear slimmer but by working on inner self will help you love yourself for who you are, at this moment and time.
If you do not like to look pale, you could always try sun bed but always be careful to much exposure. Build your self esteem which can help through any season.
I can think of Audrey Hepburn and Marylin Monroe, who were both very pale and very beautiful, certainly not fat.
Learn to love your skin colour is more ideal and your body shape whatever it is, as beauty comes in all colours and sizes.
I bet you are more attrative and unique that what you give your credit for.
Start enjoying the special person that you are, finding inner peace and accepting yourself will give a positive glow that cannot be achieved by hours at a sun bed.
Lots of hugs

The weather has a effect on everyone. In the winter the light and temperature changes causing people's skin to become pale. Also the fact, more time u spend inside the lighter ur skin looks. depresion can cause fatigue and body conscious issues. but u should call urself depressed..convience urself u arent..snuggle up in and blanket, burn some candles, take a relaxing bath or do something u enjoy. if u are really having a hard time..jst write a letter and hide it..

every girl had fat days..its horrible but there are some ways of making yourself feel better. sometimes you must admit defeat to the horrible self concious teenage life but if ur not ready to give up and retreat in ur pjs with sum chocolate biscuits then there are a couple of self esteem boosting ideas. try doing something you enjoy. painting? reading? playing tennis?? something that will make you just a little bit more happy. If your worried about being pale mayb u should invest in a spray tan. make sure u get it done professionally and dont go to dark. being an oompa loompa wont make you feel better. if you feel fat do some exercise. doesnt have to be big if u dnt want to. walking the dog. walking to the shop. going for a run heading to the gym or even going for a swim will get ur endorphins pumping making you feel like a superstar! if that doesnt work reorder your life. go throught your room and chuck everything hideous ugly old anything ur not going to use or wear. HAVE NO MERCY!! send emails or make phone calls to those friends you always said you would but never got the chance. go rent out the movie you always wanted to see. nothing makes you feel better than a new experience in ur recently decluttered life. do a lifestlye makeover!! if all else fails whatcing a movie in ur pjs with sum chocolate and coffee sometimes does the trick.
best of luck
xx
