Hi, I'm an overprotective guy unfortunately this has led to many break ups over the years. What I am wonding is how do I control these feelings so that this relationship don't end up like the rest. Any advice is welcome.

Depends what you mean by 'protective'. You need to ask yourself why you need to protect a woman so much. Have you been really hurt before?

I know I consider my partner very protective (compared to any previous anyway) but he does it in a caring, not controlling manner and I find it rather sweet of him to want to look out for me so much.
