reader, anonymous, writes (25 November 2007): go in chat rooms like zwinky and imvu. Imvu might seem like for teenagers, but there are adults that go on it too. It's free and you can make your own avatar so it looks like you then you can go to different places to talk and socialise. You have your own homepage. When you go on your homepage, you can type in what you're looking for. e.g friendship, relationship etc. Then it will come up with other people that are around your age that are looking for what you are looking for, then you can talk to them in a private conversation or leave them a message saying that you would like to talk some time, because there will be lots of people that come up with their hobbies and what they like and dislike to.
