Im 20 years old and im in a 3 year relationship. Through this relationship we have been apart for most of it. We are actually apart now. He is in the Florida Highway Patrol Academy until December. He is also in the military. I find its easiest to pick up some extra hours at work, go out with my friends, spend time with family, and i always write him letters. Since he will only be away for 2 weeks my suggestion would be to keep yourself busy. Distance makes the heart grow stronger. When he comes back you will be surprised how much this helped your relationship. Have fun!

Danielepew agony auntI think I'm with Smiles, though I would like to add a grain of salt and a little chili to what she said.

In addition to making yourself busy, it will also help you a lot to think that this is only two weeks and he'll be back. You can make yourself busy planning for a welcoming event he would never forget. That way, his being away will not be a painful thing, but, rather, an occasion for a big surprise that will sweep him off his feet. And I don't mean sex only :-). In this manner, instead of being a problem, your time away from each other will become an opportunity to rekindle the flames of your love.

Have a fire extinguisher handy, just in case :-).

Well it is at times like this we always wish time goes faster; but the clock just keeps ticking at the same pace;

I suggest you do all the things you normally neglect to do; maybe catch up with some old friends; watch a few good movies, read some books and get some good sleep;save your energy for when he gets back;

Stop counting the days and the hours!Take your watch off; (lol)

Best wishes;

Oh for gods sake it's 14 days. If he was in the army you wouldn't see him for 6 months at a time.

Go out get pissed, do the washing, spring clean, read a book, watch TV.

Buy the entire Lost and 24 box sets and watch them none stop.

Good Luck!! xx
