writes:okay well i found this site and thought maybe you guys could help me out a little?!soo im 16, i was meant to have my 16th birthday party back in may but my mum ended up in hospital so it never came off, which i wasnt too upset about as my mums health is far far more important! but this weekend im havin one! my parents have just had an extension built on the side of our house, it has a bedroom, a sittin rooom lounge room sort of thing, and a small toilet, its not big but its amazin! it was finally finished with all my stuff in on saturday and i love it! sorry lol im just braggin, ill shut up now! xD anyway! im not havin a big party because i have three big brothers (21, 24, 27) so they will most probably ended up deckin the guys there because im the youngest! lol, so i dedided to invite a few friends round and have a small party! there will be 7 of us, 3 girls and 4 guys! soo ive bought a crate of carslberg and the biggest bottle of vodka i could find, a case of alcopops and 4 big bottles of lambrini! LOL, were plannin on gettin smashhhedd! and im really really lookin forward to it! but i was after some ways of makin it a great night! i mean, i dont jus wanna get pissed n end up playin on my x box, i wanna have the best night ever! and make it one to deffo remember! but i dont know what my friends will be expectin?! soo i know its nothing to do with relationships but does anyway know any good ways of makin a small party absolutly amazin! thanks in advancee guys! I don't know if you would be into this, but I remember that I ended up having LOTS of fun at this small party I attended once.
Well, you could start by having a scavenger hunt. Depending in your neighborhood, start at a certain time where you know they will answer the door (if you live in a suburban town, then start at 6-7). Make a list of common things people could find easily when asking for them, it doesn't matter the object! Only apply this if your friends are fun loving, outgoing types. If your friends are lazy you will hear a lot of whining.
Sometimes, going back to kiddy games makes people see the irony of your birthday. You could play "Truth or dare" for lots of fun.
Make sure you have good music around that you know most of your friends like. If you wish for it to be loud music, try to make sure to ask your neighbors a weiver that they will aprove loud noise on tha day, or else they WILL call the cops, trust me.
If you have a pool, don't hesitate to use it!
Make sure that on of your brothers is around your house if anything happens. Remember that there are three types of drunks: Happy drunks, sad drunks, and angry drunks. You WON'T like the latter (and believe me, the least ones you expect end up being those) so if a fight ensues at least you will have manly hands to pevent them.
In my party, we didn't get drunk (some tried), but I remember that the part where everyone had fun was when we got a buch of water balloons and started a war right there. You will have the BEST fun there.
