reader, anonymous, writes (16 December 2007): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionJust thought I would update those who replied, I bought us both new glam outfits, and when he arrived home I greeted him at the door in my new dress, heels and hair and makeup all done, 2 glasses of wine in my hand, bubble bath waiting for him, and we went out to our new favourite restaurant for a lovely meal.
We had a really lovely night :o)

i really admire ur love n care for him
as he is comming frm a long distance he must be very tired so manage for a mmoth n relaxing nite for him with soft music massage n buble bath so me feel relax n do express how much u love him

I wish my girlfriend had your attitude! But that's besides the point lol.
One thing I will warn you of though, is that he may be extremely tired after coming home at night, and after travelling for what I assume would be a long distance.
It may not be appropriate to give him the same homecoming as you did for his bon voyage, as he may be completely shattered and as a result overwhelmed.
All I would ask for after not seeing my girlfriend for a while is for her to be there ready to greet me with open arms
