I'm in a relationship with an older man too. 15 year difference here and frankly, I love it because i've always been kinda older when it comes to taste (books, music, movies, etc). There are times though that certain things that we can't help would pop up like trivial stuff that are identified by different generations. Honestly, things take time. My man realized that I'm not a little girl when started getting to know me and my opinion on things and what I am capable of professionally.
Great advice above from dirtball. Be yourself. If he's not treating you the way you believe you should be, it's not meant to be.

You can't. You are still a child in his eyes. Your best bet is to be yourself. If he can love you for who you are, then the age won't matter. If he can't get past it, then your relationship isn't meant to be.
