writes:My girlfriend and I have broken up for 3 weeks now and I found out that she went back to a guy she dated before me. And they started dating again about a week after our breakup. This entire ordeal has been heartbreaking. She never told me about this guy before and we told each other about all our relationships in the past. I really love her and miss her tremendously and I believe that she's the woman for me and if there's a chance to bring her back into my life I would. So any advice on how I can make her love me again?

reader, anonymous, writes (7 October 2010): Sorry, but you can't "make" anybody love you. If she wanted to be with you she would be. I understand that you are hurting but you need to start to move on from her.

You can't. She never loved you, that's the point. You've been the rebound, and the moment she could get back with her ex, she did. She's not the woman for you at all. She's not the woman for anyone. You need to get over this one. She's no good in any way. She chose her ex over you, so she was obviously in love with her ex. Don't waste your time.
