An ignorant conclusion. You cannot hate love. You can hate the relationships born from love that may end up shattering but you cannot hate love itself. When he feels it, he will see things quite differently.
You cannot persuade him to fall in love with you and there is not much you can do to ensure he feels something towards you. Trying to impress him or somehow seduce him may not have the affect you were looking for. Why not continue being his friend. Be good friends with him and eventually he may fall for you.
I hope that helps.
