How can I lose weight when I can't control myself?

I am a 16 year old girl and I want to reduce my weight around 16 kgs but the problem is I can't control myself so what should i do? tell me some solution.and i can't even do yoga and excerise because in some days school will reopen so then there will be no time.and tell me some good solution.

i found when i wanted to control eating between meals, i just chewed sugar free gum between every meal. nothing tastes good after chewing gum, lol. or if you feel like you want to eat something but know you shouldnt , drink a big glass of water. sometimes thurst is mistaken for hunger. hang a picture of yourself in your room, or on your mirror, and every time you look at it, it will be motivation to suceed. these are techniques i've done, and they seem to work. recently i've been taking my weight in pounds, and dividing it in half, and thats how many ounces of water i drink... so for example you weigh 150lbs, drink 75 ounces of water a day. water fills you up and makes you less hungry and flushes all the bad stuff out.

EbonyBlossom agony auntHow do you get to and from school? Walking or biking to and from school gets the exercise in very conveniently! Also what/how much do you eat? Make sure your diet is BALANCED (that means a bit of EVERYTHING - including your fruit and veg!) If you tend to eat a lot, try drinking more water because you'll feel fuller for longer.

What are your school hours? There must be time in the evening for you to exercise. Are there any sports or dance clubs in your area? If not why not go for a long walk or jog?

Okay, when you have certain cravings, it means that your body wants a certain thing. For example, when you crave something salty, you really need water because your body is trying to hold in water through the salt. Drinking water or juice in that case is much healthier than eating something salty. Look up other things, like what your body needs when you crave sweet things, etc. Then fill your body with what it really needs rather than the cravings. Hope this helps. Good luck.

same hereeee!!! I am doing the same starting yesterday.

Now the only solution is to eat less and exercise. Now you said you cant exercise? but then the only way would be to go on a complete crash diet. something like having just apples and honey water whenever youre hungry. Now thts real tough.

What i am doing is. I exercise for an hour everyday and have milk and a bowl of legumes ( anything with high proteins, tuna is the best option if you eat it) and salad in the evening. I have reduced my calories a lil but id exercise a lot. I shall let you know how much i reduce but i think thts the best way for ppl who dont like to exercise much and love to eat.

( crash diet is not recommended by people because the point you start eating normal again, youd blow up like a balloon )

You have not been specific in the reason in why you are overweight... However i use to be 18 stone due to the fact i didnt care about what i ate or about doing anything like exercising. I didnt even care people made fun of me.

I then decided enough was enough when my doctor gave me a health scare. If you want to lose weight bad enough you will always find a way. If it is due to food then dont have unhealthy products in the house to tempt you, if you eat healtily but cant go to the gym or do yoga, do exercises while you are busy. I wore weights on my ankle and walked to and from work everyday.little things make a very big difference.Everytime you reach your goal for the week go and buy yourself a piece of clothing for your final target, from the money you saved not getting junk food and take pictures so you can see the difference.There is no point trying if you dont want it bad enough.i managed it because i put the effort in.hope that helps
