Giving him an extra present will make him appear special when the friends tally up what you gave them and since you do not want him to know that you like him (children!!!????) you cannot kiss him or other to let him know you like him. You are in a double-bind young lady. What do you want to do? And if you want to do it you should at least work out a plan that will achieve the outcome you desire.

 Apart from potentially ruining your friendship - which is a big deal, I know - what else is stopping you from telling him how you feel? Are you certain he doesn't feel the same? This isn't what you asked, but it's something you might want to think about a little more! You could buy something that he knows he likes, or wants, and just say 'i know you wanted this and I saw it so I thought I'd buy it as I had the money and there weren't many left' (or because of 'XYZ'). You can always say to the other boys that you couldn't afford anymore/didn't know what they wanted. Even if you do give this excuse, depending on how you look and sound about it, they still might be able to guess that you like him :-). Depends how good a liar you are (lol).
