Hey, I'm 15 and i'm currently in a relationship with a girl my age. We've been together 2 months now and we still find it hard to talk to each other directly.

We mostly hang around with her mates and i don't mind that but i think its stopping me and her from talking.

Any Advice on how i can talk to her??

Why dont you two go for a walk in the local park. Have a picnic, yes, i know we are heading for winter, but it could be fun. Maybe a trip to Pizzahut or one of those places on a Saturday afternoon. Sit and have a chat away from the whole gang of friends that she has around her. Can you not maybe watch tv and one of your houses, or babysit, during the day on the weekend for a relative. You could have a chat then. Might be a bit disrupted by the child but at least the gang wont be there.

take care

xx

DIE-romantic. agony auntDont worry about it, my friend has been with her boyfriend for nearly 6 months and they still have awkward moments where they find it hard to talk to each other. I think you should just try and come out of your shell abit, you know, make the first move sort of thing. That way you may find she will ease up, and it will get easier as the time goes on.

Good luck xxx

What you need is some time together alone. Spend some time at each other's houses, away from your parents and friends. Play some music together and start your chat about that song. Sometimes it is better to start a conversation with a favourite song playing in the background as opposed to an awkward silence. Relax, get in the mood beforehand. You will find then that talking comes easily.
