writes:I like this guy who works at a place that i go to to get help to get back into work. He gave the induction that i went to, and now i see him whenever i go in to see an Advisor. I usually see him on a computer or something, but i dont get to speak to him because i see my Advisor and then i have to leave because i have another appointment just after that one. I can go into the building any day though to use the computers to do some jobsearch, but i usually use the one i have at home. How can i get talking to him more and should i let him know that i like him ?. Reply to this Question

 Your getting excellent advise. Start with the small talk to break the ice, find out if he is in a relationship and if he is not than ask him out for coffee. Good Luck.

 I think you should talk to him first. I suggest that you ask him out for coffee the next time you're in. It will show you're interested, and give you a chance to talk if he says yes. Then you just talk to him and get to know him.
I would also suggest topics that don't make him fell like he's at work, so talking about how the job hunt is going might not be the best topic. Maybe talk about how he got into that job, or the weather, or hobbies.
Show your interest in him through the questions you ask. Make sure to let him know you had a nice time and if it goes well see if he maybe would like to go out some night.

reader, anonymous, writes (1 December 2010): If you just started to like him, get to know him more personally.Start having conversations with him, even if they are short ones.Then slowly build on them and have better conversations.Also before u get too ahead of urself, try to find out if he is still single.Its better to find out early than to let ur feelings run and find out later which is gonna hurt.After spending some time with him about a few weeks, if you feel or could see him show signs of affection to you.I would say then tell him u like him.As confessing too early can scare of anyone,let it be a guy or girl.This is what i feel.Good luck to you, Hopefully your wishes come true. : )
