A male United Kingdom age 51-59, anonymous writes:

Please can somebody help me get over my guilt. I once betrayed my best mate, I slept with his ex girlfriend and she had our child, why I dont know.

What came over me I guess I was feeling low and she was there offering herself to me and I took what was on offer, cant believe I stooped so low.

A female reader, Ask Heather +, writes (28 March 2007):

Ask Heather agony auntFrom what you say, you are "Eaten up" with Guilt. You also say you slept with his ex girlfriend; surely if she`s an ex, then you`ve not betrayed your best mate? The Thing that concerns me though is the fact that you know you have a child, which from your question, dosn`t seem to be important to you. Heather.
