reader, anonymous, writes (7 May 2009): Awww....Im in exactly the same situation!...Hun just try to take him off your mind...be happy that he`s happy...I know its soo hard to understand...but what will be will be y`know....spend lots of time with friends and stay away from the stuff that remind you of him...and tell your friends not to mention him around you...I know its going to be hard...because I cant stop thinking about the guy I love......but Ive tried some of these things and they work!..good luck!

 hun it'll be tough as you've liked him for so long.
but just think you can get someone better!
you'll like loads of guys through your life hun and not all them will be as nice as you hoped.
but you'll get there and because you're young you've got alot of guys to like yet :P
and as for you're friends they are just being really immmature.
ignore them.
or tease them about people they like see how they like it.
with moving on from your crush it'll be hard but just think forward and positive :)

the only way to get over him is to realize that there are other fish in the sea. it might seem really impossible, but crushes happen all the time. if you and this guy are friends, it might be easier to get over him by talking to him about it and telling him how you feel and what you want and seeing what his response is. if you and this guy are not friends it will go away with time and surely there will be a new guy soon! as for your friends teasing you, you need to tell them that it really upsets you when they tease you and poke fun so you would really like it if they cut it out. it will be more effective if you tell them alone when you are all having good girl talk then when you are at school or a lot of other people are around.
