 hi,
poor thing you sound like you are a bit of a loner..i suppose it depends what type of person you are opposed to the kind of people you want to meet, i mean a lot of people mix themselves up with the wrong sort of people,generally because they grew up in the same area or class or something...you however, sound to me like you have a lot of choices in who you could be or not be friends with.
look into yourself,what hobbies do you have?,music that you like? food you like?,sports that your'e good at?,or even a certain trade you are interesed in or one that you can do?,then find the places where you would function best to meet friends with the same interests as you.
If you don't have any interests,the best thing is that you can invent a whole new you from scratch and learn different things and about different kinds of people...and getting to know people means getting to know them not getting them to know about you,what i mean is that the best stratgy when you start a coversation with a new person is to get them to talk about themselves,if you allow this then you will find that they should be equally interesed in what you have to say about yourself as you took time out to get to know them...i wish you well in all that you do ...good luck...Aunty B xx

reader, anonymous, writes (20 June 2006): If you have one or two friends ask them to go out with you... just anywere and youth clubs or other clubs are good ... if your that age lol..because that way you meet people . ( i no its stupid advise lol but i really wanted to leave some lol )

 Do you know of any groups/associations/clubs in your area? What would you like to do in your spare time? Maybe you could go on an evening course, that way you will meet people and learn something too. That way when you do go out you will have more to talk about with others! Once you have taken that step, there is no turning back! I wish you all the best. x
