writes:well me and this boy, we have been showing signs of liking each other for 3 years and still we havent been bf n gf yet. he sticks up for me, and him n mates stare at me. i really like him. but when i confront him he says he duznt like me, but he shows signs of liking me. becoz i heard him speak to ppl about me and i heard him say yes to a mate saying so u like her. i dont know what to do because my mate reckons he is using me , but if i dont pay attention to him he shows off big time and starts fights just until i look. and wherever i sit he sits diaginal from me so he can see me. him and i have made so much eye contact. he stares at me in discos n in class. also i like can see him look out the corner of my eye.i dont know what to do please help me.  you know you're kind of in a similar situation to what i've been in - with the eye contact thing - it makes you think is he wanting me to look back or is he staring because he likes me or what? you dont know how to act! i know its hard but you have to get him to come straight with one answer, he either likes you or he doesn't. if he does then why not go for it? you like him back right?
i can see where the idea of him playing you around comes from - some boys are like that and they enjoy having control over girls who never know if they're coming or going. DONT let youself be put in that situation. tell him you like him but you're not prepared to wait around. if he says he likes you to then give it a go! but if he doesn't, then move on. you cant make people like you, but you can try to find out if they do. you'll soon get over it, he's not worth of it if he is messing you around.
i hope everything goes ok, and believe me i do understand kind of how you're feeling.
