writes:Okay..lets me try to explain.There is this really cute girl in my class at school. She's a notetaker for another student that is a good friend of mine. Anyways this girl (notetaker)always smiles at me, talks to me a bit, and says hi. She sits next to me and glances at me from time to time. I think she's cute and I'm dying to ask her out, but i don't know if she's gay or just being nice.How can I find out for sure before I make a fool of myself by asking her out? Reply to this Question

i dont know hun im in the same situation with a girl at work.she smiles at me, always says hi, she waves and asks how i am. i really cant tell if shes being friendly or is interested.ive always thought she was gay from the day i met her.and i dunno if she knows i am.but like u, i wear a rainbow neckalce everyday and i make sure its visible whenever i see her coming xD lol.sorry, not realy much help, but at least u know ur not alone haha.

 Its hard to analyze others intentions. Try and get to know her as a friend, then if opportunity presents its self you can ask her. At the very least you might be able to gain a friend.

 She could very easily miss those 'signals', from what you've described I wouldn't assume she knows.
I suggest telling her. If she's gay or bi then she'll let you know. And if she's straight she'll most likely let you know too.

I dress boyish, have long hair but i do wear my rainbow necklace everyday and its visible all the time. I don't think she's completely clueless to my being gay.
