I have not been in a relationship in a while and met a guy at my hairdresser's a few days ago. I wasn't 100 per cent sure if he liked me back or was interested but he was very friendly and always caught my eyeline with a smile and blush.

We got on really well and had a laugh. I don't know if he has a girlfriend or not though. I would really like to see him again without having to wait six weeks in between. As I am starting college it means I would have to go at the weekend when he may not be working.

Do you have any ideas on how I can show I'm interested without making it uncomfortable if it doesnt work out, or how I could see him again? My mum and gran both go there too.

Do you also have any ideas on how I could suss him out a bit better and get to know him without waiting 6 weeks in between? please help xxxx

Flirting is an art that you can only learn by watching and practice. Still, if I was this guy in a casual talk at the hairdresser it would be enough for me to go on if you told me I had a cute baby face while smiling big with eye contact. See, you can put a compliment laced with attraction out there, but if you put a playful twist on it so if he doesn't bite it'll make him laugh and shouldn't be awkward. I say ask your girlfriends, because I'm in no way qualified to teach a lady how to flirt.
