How can I find interesting things to talk about?

Question - (21 December 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 21 December 2009)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

My fiance told me yesterday and reminded me today that he no longer has anything interesting to say to me. He was acting really clingy the last week and then all of a sudden this happened. How can I bring something of interest to the conversation? We are about to have a daughter in less than a month and I don't want that to be the only thing we talk about. He says he still loves me and wants to be with me but every time I've tried to talk to him the past two days it's like he's shutting me out. What can I do?

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (21 December 2009):

He's terrified about the pregnancy and becoming a father. Ask him how he feels about it all, and tell him you need him in your life. But also remember that you're pregnant, and he needs to understand that.
