After being abused repeatedly, I realized I needed to leave, so I abandoned my apartment and moved back to california in fear of what would happen if I stayed. I now have an eviction on my record, and I can't find an apartment. This is really haunting me because I felt I had to leave to protect my unborn child, and now I am paying for it in the worst way. What can I do, is there any way for me to find somewhere to live that will work with me? Reply to this Question Share |

Well done for leaving. I know it's hard on you, but you made the right decision. The only thing I can suggest is that you find a woman's hostel you an go to and see if you can get any advice at all. Maybe there is someone there who can help you. Stay strong for yourself and your baby too. You've made the right decision to get away.
