My boyfriend and I have been together 4 years now. We have had lots of problems so he moved to florida to try and fix what he needs to fix and i'm in michigan working on the things I need to fix. It's been 45 days now since I've seen him we both work, him during the day and me at night. Not much time for us to talk. And when we can he is ready for bed.I feel as if we are slipping away what can I do to feel like this a good thing. Also I don't know when he will be coming home.

TooGenerous agony auntHe might never come back and you need to brace yourself for that one. If it was a problematic relationship before he left, then it will probably be problematic when he gets back. I wouldn't sweat the small stuff. I would move on in my mind. Not dating other men, but go and do things with your friends. If you really want it to work then let him go - if it is meant to be he will come back - if not - then you are free to date. If you get into another relationship though, wait a full year to get rid of the baggage that you have accumulated, or the same problems will follow you in your next relationship. Believe me - I am 40 and I know.
