He was an extremely good dresser - always wearing something cool, trendy but at the same time classy. Even when it came to accessories like gloves, scarves, sunglasses etc he just always got it right!!
Everyone I knew back then would always comment on what a good dresser he was!
First I thought he just had good taste, then I was wondering if maybe he was gay .... finally after having known him for over a year I asked him about it.
Turns out this guy was neither gay, had good taste nor a very good dresser.
During his college years he had realised that he just had no natural ability to co-ordinate clothes so instead of dooming himself to a life without style he adopted a unique tactic.
He would buy loads of magazines and basically cut out outfits he liked. Then he'd go shopping for items to match the outfits!
He kept all of the clippings in a folder and never ventured into trying to match anything on his own! Over they years he had developed quite a collection. Haha you gotta love men!

You have to work out, pure and simple. It isn't even about losing weight primarily, you will carry yourself more confidently and that is what they will notice.
If women only looked at how men dress to be interested in them then we would have it made. They just don't work like that.
A couple basic ideas beyond improving yourself from the inside out.
If you have a bit of a belly dont tuck in your shirt
If you have no ass dont wear tight jeans...in fact just dont wear tight pants in general. Casual fit is best.
Well fitting button up shirts are an indispensable item, get a few.
Loud jewelry is generally for pimps. A really good watch is the best all around solution.
From the inside out brother!

As for clothing, I am not great at what fits men, but I know that white makes things look "bigger" in a way. White and bright coloures highlights and brings the attention to that area. Black is said to be slimming, but I fear black will also make you look shorter. When finding clothes, focus on the parts of you that look great. Is it the bum? Then wear something tight around the bum to show it off. Do you have amazing eyes? Wear something in a colour that brings out your eyes more. Did you consider the effect shoes with a higher heel can do? Im not talking female high heels here! Some shoes for men have a thicker heel than others who are just flat. The thicker heel, that is the height, can help you get just a little taller. Wearing stylish and classy clothes however never fail. If you look like you actually put some time and consideration into your outfit, it will immediately look better.

Wear vertical stripes instead of horizontal stripes and checks in your shirts. Don't overload your wardrobe with fat-happy black clothes. If your weight bothers you, exercise and turn some of it into muscle.

If you haven't developed your own style, then perhaps emulate the style of someone you admire and who has a similar physique to yours. Trust your friends' opinions too. If you have any good friends, probably female, ask them to come shopping with you and advise you what looks good.In general, bold patterns and bright colours draw the eye, so avoid these where you're heavy if you're not comfortable with your weight. If you're short don't wear shirts or coats that are really long.
