reader, anonymous, writes (26 July 2007): I suggest buying her a nice baby-doll or slip type lingerie. These come (usually) in small, medium, large. And that should be easy to tell by looking at her.Just go up to a sales person and say she is this high, about this wide around at the waist, etc. The sales person would be able to tell you S, M, or L. It's when you get into the bustier type things where you really need to know here sizes.

Hi,
I assume you don’t live together, because the solution would be to sneak into the bedroom, find a few things that she currently wears, and look at the labels. Some lingerie is sold as small, medium and large. So if you tell the assistant her dress size, they will be able to advise. But. if your plans include a bra, then either use your initiative in order to get a crafty look at her underwear labels, or ask one of her friends if they can find out subtly. Women have terrible trouble getting the right bra size for themselves, even though they have their body with them when shopping, so guessing at a size is very tricky. However, if all fails, then just make a guess based on her dress size and the assistant’s advice. Women treat having to exchange some items as an occupational hazard. It’s the thought that counts!

Well if you guys have gone as far as taking your clothes off in front of each other (which it seems so, if you are buying her lingerie) then why not sneak a peak somehow then? Or you could just ask her, she may not think anything of it, cause guys like to know the size of their gf, I know mine asked and he didnt go out and buy me anything.

 Well, check out her undies one day from the wash... then check out another pair just in case the first one runs small. ;P Otherwise, do you have her hip size? Because underwear/lingerie usually comes in sizes that can be compared to bust and hip size. But don't take my word for it: a cursory check at your local sexy shop can give you more info- the people that work there are usually very helpful. :)
