We get on like a house on fire it's unreal, we have so much in common, always make each other laugh and always have fun. I haven't had a relationship in years (since I was last in school). My issue is that I'd like to see if she'd like to be my girlfriend, she clearly likes me I'm just not sure how much. We are currently more than "friends" we hold hands, kiss, etc, etc. I'm unsure on how to approach asking her! I remember in school you could just ask a girl "would you go out with me?" or "would you be my girlfriend?". I feel this may be a little childish as I'm 22. Any suggestions on how to approach this situation regarding timing, words to say etc would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for all those who help! Reply to this Question Share |

What more do you think you should be doing to make you think you are actually in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship with this girl? You spend time together, you hold hands, you kiss . . . Am I missing something? You are already in a bf/gf relationship.

You don't actually have to ask. If you like each other you continue seeking each other's company. You show affection for each other, and you make a few plans to do things you both might enjoy. The only big question is on marriage, and fewer people are taking that route these days.
