One thing that has come up is that she is going out of town for an 18 week training and will be away till then. It means we shall be having a long-distance relationship. I feel a bit insecure with this arrangement. We are also looking at the prospects of being separated for quite a while and she may get a posting out of my twon. How do I handle this?

If you can't handle an 18 week seperation you are not ready to be married.

Is she in the military? If so, you and her need to decide if you want to be married under those conditions.
