I started liking him this year when i saw him at fish camp looking just drop dead gorgous! It turns out that over the summer he lost like 20 pounds!! Cool? I know right.. well anyways I have like 2 classes with him. I dont know if it's me or what but I sometimes catch him looking at me, i dont really know what to do about it. I don't wanna seem shallow or anything but for some reason I just didn't see him like that last year. Well anyways i kinda may have told a "friend" who i liked while also telling her not to tell anyone... big mistake. She told her best friend, her boyfriend, and it just seemed to go from there. Basically I think one of his best friends knows and I'm pretty sure he knows too. I think so because in one of the classes we have together, he used to always talk to me, help me, play around, and just talk. Now i can barely make eye contact without him looking away.. that is soooooooooo embarrasing. I really really liked him.. and because we have last period together it just really puts a damper on my whole day. I dont know what to do.. about any of it. Help someone?? Boys and girls help. Thanks :)

Well that sucks!
The best you can do is to hold your head high, feign confidence and remember that "this too, shall pass". Put a smile on your face and be casual with him. Don't stop piping up and saying "hi", even if he doesn't hold eye contact for quite as long. Now that the cat is out of the bag, maybe he's feeling awkward about how to approach you as well. My guess is that he probably likes you too, but is really bad at being forward and instead has retreated to a state that I like to call "hibernation mode".
If you are really feeling gutsy, you could always approach him and tell him straight out, "listen - you may have heard that I like you. Well, it's true... but I don't want that to screw up our friendship because last period will get weird and that will ruin a perfectly good day. So if the feeling isn't mutual, it's not a big deal!"
Good luck, sweet!
