I've been with my boyfriend for 2 months and its been going great until he landed a new job approx 2 hours drive away.

he thinks it won't work and we should call it off but i don't want to do that and i'm really hurting.

he's not leaving for a month.

what should i do?

hiyah i think you should get used to the idea of him leavin before he goes, he sems to be heading in this direction too. its not always what we want to hear but he may feel hes doing right for you both. tell him your hurting but can see why he said what he said even though you dont agree, its going to be hard for you for some time but it seems like hes already letting go maybe you have no choice but too? im really sorry you will move on sweetie soon and you wil find love thatll last, its there for everyone it might not be what you want right now but you need to focus on positives beofre you let it really damage you.

Reebe agony auntIt can work, but it takes alot of effort and the feelings have to already be deep enough to make that effort.

I agree with Miss Potter you should just move on and find someone willing to be there for you.

Miss Potter agony auntHi, im sorry to hear its like this for you. Thing is if he already told you that he thinks its not going to work out means he made up his mind, hes still not attached to you enough to think that long distance will be worth while considering.
