He's starting to act like me! Does that mean he likes me?

A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Dear Agony Aunts,

I really like this guy. I've known him for about three years now, and when I first met him, he was really shy and awkward... but as I get to know him and see him grow as a person, I can't help but notice that he's starting to act like me! Like, we talk the same way, say the same things, even have a very similar attitude. All of the changes have seemed to happen really fast, like within the course of a month or two.... does that mean he likes me back, or something else? Any help would be really appreciated! I just wish I could get into this kid's head!

It sounds as if he does like you. But the only way for you to 'get into his head' would be to risk talking to him about how you feel. You need to talk to him, as that would make it much clearer.

Imitation is the most sincerest form of flattery. He likes you.
