A female Canada age 30-35, anonymous writes:

there's this guy. he's really awkward, he does and says strange things. i just find it incredably alluring..

i have the biggest crush on him. he sits with me in class. i think maybe he's interested.. he pokes my hand with pencils, teases me, gets stuff for me, just does weird stuff for my attention. it's very cute.

maybe he likes me? what do you think?

problem. he seems very insecure to me. and i know this sounds harsh.. but, im relativly attractive, i dress well, and im pretty well liked.. so, idk.. i have a feeling with his insecurities, and and stuff, that he wouldn't have the balls to ask me out. not to mention, i dont think he's ever dated. but im so shy, and i have like.. a phobia of rejection. and idk. i can never get him alone ever. he's only on msn once in a blue moon. and never goes on facebook. i have no idea how to tell him, or anything. it's so frustrating. i really want him. :( HELP.

A female reader, EveryLittleHelps United Kingdom +, writes (31 January 2010):

You say he does these things to attract your attention, which shows he's flirting. You say does he like you, I think that anwser may just be yes. You say you're scared of rejection yes? but it sounds like he has the same problem. Men sometimes feel because you haven't made the first move you don't like them. I really do not know how the male mind works but this doesn't sound complicated. Just think, the world isn't going to end if you tell him how you feel. I know it's not as easy as that and your stomach will be flipping over. But if it was me I would much rather do that than be kicking myself later for not saying anything. Maybe just smile and ask him to go somewhere. You may feel stupid, but you may make him very very happy. You'll laugh about this with him at some point. Good luck!
