I'm in love with my best friend. I know he likes me back because we always hug and everything. I don't wanna tell him cause I think it will ruin our friendship and I don't wanna lose that but I can't stop thinking about him. Should I tell him I love him??

A male reader, BJacobs United States +, writes (31 May 2011):

BJacobs agony auntI would just let off hints like complimenting his apperance, for example saying he looks cute or good today. his reaction should tell you what hes thinking. He might feel the same way. You just have to put yourself on the spot and hope for the best if you are good friends and he rejects you then it shouldnt change much and time will fix anything that does chane. chances are he doesnt think you like him and is nervious to say anything... ive been in a situation similar to yours but on the other side. so yes you should tell him your interested in him. I wouldnt say the L word right off. Just let him know you REALLY like him, some people get jumpy when it comes to saying "I love you" GOOD LUCK, hope it works out good
