writes:Hello!im 16 years old girl and im inlove with my bestfriend! he's a great guyand all of our class's are together and we talk and see each other like 24/7 and he keeps saying i love you but i know he means it as a (friendship kinda love) he keeps flirting and saying how sweet and how pretty i am , but he's not making any move and im too scared if i made the first move i will lose him as a friend forever! ....and he keeps saying that im the only person who understands him and make him feel good..he ditchs his girlfriend for me and call me instead of her and prefers me INSTEAD OF HER!! is that sign that he likes me!! the thing is that i dont wanna lose him !! PLEASE HELPP!!

i agree, you need to tell him. relationships btween friends are easier and usually last longer. my gf is my best friend bc she took a chance and told me she liked me when we barely knew each other. he does like you, but i dont think either of you should make a move if he has a gf. and guys need to be told these things bc we really need it simple.

reader, anonymous, writes (15 May 2009): well its clear to me he does. see most guys end up fancying tere friends as does most girls. im going out with my old best friend and he did the same, completmenting things etc. mayb you should just tell him and see how he reacts, thats what my bf did, and at the time i didnt like him in tat way but it didnt mess anything up it didnt change anything at all. tell him how you feel becus it seems to me that he proably feels the same way
