A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

So theres this guy i really like him i think he likes me too.he would ditch his friends in class for me.and sit next me..and when i asked him to hook me up with his his cousin but i was only joking and every time i asked him he a smile on his face like he was jealous and then he would bring up some excuse.then after i did that he wanted me to ask out one of my friends for him.i don't know if he did that to make me jealous. or if he really liked her but idk.i am a lot prettier than my friend.even though that doesn't really matter.Me and him had so much in common and we talked about a lot of different things. But in two weeks he;s leaving for college.should i get his number to try and stay in contact with and call him and tell him how i feel and try to do a long distance relationship with him.or should i just give up on him??

BE mindful of your feelings because it is oh so easy to get emotionally close over phone and email then become disappointed in person.
