 Ask him for his address and let him know you'll write to him, like the other agony uncle below said, they look forward to letters coming to them so write to him and send him cards. 6 months isn't that long, he'll be back before you know it. Meanwhile you concentrate on your studies and other hobbies, that way the time will fly in.

there is not allot you can do iv got to go back to the army soon but you know when you in training or on tour it always brings a smile to my face when i get a letter of eny sort form me mum dad sister uncle even the local shop keeper so just wright to him and get him to wright back ok :)
