 Um I would find that a little odd too. But if it is fun for both of you I guess it's all good. If he can only have sex if you "play" a guy then there is something a little strange going on.
If you don't want to do that tell him no.
Maybe you two need a good talk about sex, fantasies, limitations and so forth.

Just be frank with him and try and get a bit more understanding of why he wants to do this and go from there.

I would venture to say no. If you got off, too, then, hey, whatever turns you both on, great, as they say. However, you clearly found this odd, and so would I; and I'm open-minded. Some red flags here.
